On Wednesday evening the Adult Hurling League Division 4 side gained promotion with an emphatic victory over St. Brigids in Russell Park. The lads conceded two early goals and looked nervous but they showed their character to bounce back and managed to keep Brigids scoreless in the second half. This panel of players have now been involved in back to back promotions for 3 seasons, county finals, league finals and they still boost a very young average age. The work of Kieran Murphy, Dave Flanagan and Jimmy O'Grady deserves special mention and the players have taken on board all the advise to achieve some remarkable results!!! Well done to all players, managers andmentors alike.
