Parnells Hammers vs Kesh Angels
Tonight in the Crowne Plaza Santry the Docklands Boxing Club will hold a Charity Fight Night with a local Taxi rank team taking on Parnells finest. The event is a sell out and the atmosphere promises to be electric.
Current veteran of the Senior footballers and former Junior Amateur boxing Champ Philip Keogh has been coaching the Parnells Hammmers for tonights event. Philip said "Tonight is the culmination of a lot of hard work and effort by the lads over the last few months and they are just eager to get in the ring and give a good account of themselves. I wish all the lads the best of luck. I would also like to thank all the Parnells members who are supporting tonights event!!
The Parnells Hammers are made up of Padraig 'Podge' Hogan, Stephen Mills, Martin Whelan and Kevin Hendrick. John Peyton was originally scheduled to fight but due to a hand injury picked up playing for the seniors on Wednesday evening has had to withdraw. We wish John a speedy recovery.
