Na Fianna 3-18 0-9 Parnells Mobhi Road
The ladies suffered defeat in their 1st league game of the season. Facing the current County Champions is always a tall order and the experience of the Mobhi Road outfit was the difference between the sides. Parnells started the brightest and should have registered more white flags before Na Fianna settled. The Nells showed great spirit and effort throughout and with a number of players back from injury on the night and county star Avril Cluxton to rejoin the ranks soon results should improve. Best performers on the night Emma Merrigan and Aoife McEvoy.
