Parnells 'Power' to AFL 10N League sucesss
IThis afternoon in Chanel Brian Power's Parnells Junior 2 side claimed the Div 10North League. In a closely contested 1st half the 'Nells trailed early to the Wild Geese. Parnells never gave up and got back into the game with some quality scores from the left feet of Chrisie Carolan and Terry Farrelly. An inspirational goal from Pearse O'Hanlon just before the break gave the 'Nells some breathing space. In the second half with Parnells in command tempers began to fray, but Parnells remained calm and matched their opponents score for score to run out 7 point victors. Congratulations to Brain Power and his management team on a tremendous success!!!!!!
