This Wednesday 24th February the Minor Hurlers will open their league campaign with a short but always difficult trip to O'Tooles. The match promises to raise the temperature of what is forecast to be a cold night. With our U.21s through to a County Final the next generation are waiting in the wings!! Lets get out and support the young men.
Minor Hurling League Wednesday 24th February
Parnells v O'Tooles Blunden Drive 7.30pm
The weekend just past saw our adult football teams maintain their good starts to the season. The seniors and the Junior 1 side both made the trip to Tymon North to face St. Judes on Sunday morning. Both Parnells teams adapted to the freezing temperatures and icey pitches more comfortably and ran out winners.
Seniors winning 1-11 to 1-05
Juniors winning 1-08 to 0-08
The Junior 2 game was postponed due to snow and the Minor footballer game was abandoned as the pitch cut up badly.
