Parnells Minors beat Naomh Barrog in a thrilling Championship played in St. Annes. By this victory, the Minors have qualified for the quarter-final. The team was led by the on form Stephen Duffy who scored some fantastic points from full-forward. Vincent Fanning, Daryl Curley and Robert Murphy made other notable contributions in the forward line, but it was the Parnells defence that dominated the Barrog forwards and Barrog struggled to score from play. Christopher Oonan and Aaron Jameson played central roles in the victory.
